The event will also feature Rwanda traditional cuisines as well as exotic food to cater for the varied preferences of visitors expected to attend the events.

The event will be hosted every second Saturday of the month.

According to Caleb Igarimeza, the administrator of Heaven restaurant in Kiyovu, it will be a unique event where food and culture will blend to promote the unique Rwandan culture.

“We don’t expect only local people. The whole community of expatriates and tourists will as well attend.

This is going to be a special event that will put Rwanda arts and culture on the global map,” he added.

Igarimeza said that Heaven restaurant has been at the forefront of partnerships with local artistes to showcase their remarkable talent to the world. This is why they partnered with Inema Centre, based in Kacyiru, to open a gallery at the restaurant where Rwandan artistes can exhibit their extraordinary work to locals and tourists alike who go to the restaurant.

According to Emmanuel Nkuranga, one of the founders of Inema, the event will be launched at Heaven Restaurant tomorrow.
