Ecobank Tanzania rewards campaign winners

Excitement and joy reigned at Ecobank Uhuru Branch premises as the second set of ‘Win Big with Ecobank’ campaign winners received their prizes, bringing to 30 the number of customers who have won different categories of prizes so far.

The latest batch of winners had individuals from all sectors of the economy—corporate, public and Non-governmental organisations. It was indeed a joyous occasion filled with felicitations and good wishes.

One of the winners, Sallu Johnson, a quality assurance staff of Intertech International Tz Ltd, said, “It is a game that creates awareness to the public…Ecobank is a good bank.” Wamba Salawa, who works in real insurance, said: “I was surprised when I got a call from my branch manager informing that I had won a laptop.”

Another winner, Benito Shayo, a Human Resource officer with an insurance firm, was just as surprised and thankful about winning, “It’s a good way of encouraging people to save.”  The campaign among other things seeks to encourage the saving culture among Tanzanians.

Head of Marketing and Products of Ecobank Tanzania Andrew Lyimo said he was satisfied with the response received from the public. “The purpose of the campaign is to reach out to people in a manner that is exciting and also endearing and we are grateful for the public response.”
