Mwambungu congratulated all teachers who have not participated in strike and are still playing their daily role to students.

On the other hand Mwambungu scolded the Chama cha Walimu Tanzania (CWT) Tanzania Teachers’ Union tendency of visiting schools in Ruvuma and pressurize teachers to join the strike.
“CWT is not the employer of teachers so it should obey the court order on the strike. CWT leaded should stop the strike and call back all teachers so that they can continue with their duties.”
Teachers of Tanzania started their endless strike on Monday to pressuraze the government to increase salaries and allowances.
