Ugandan musician, Jose Chamilione playing a guitar with his fans outside Tanzanian Embassy in Uganda to pressurize for his passport which is held by Global Publishers General Director, Eric Shigongo.
Abdalla said it has been Jose Chamilione’s chronic tendency to use his manager to receive advance payment and then denying the move.
“This is not the first time…I remember when I conducted a press conference to explain about the situation came another Promoter who complained the same issue about Jose happened to him in 2005.” said Mrisho as he was speaking in one of Channel Ten’s morning programs this morning.
Abdalla Mrisho said they tried their level best to speak with him when he landed in Dar es Salaam for the show but he refused and demanded another $ 8, 000 so that he could perform in the concert.
“Of course we gave him another $ 8, 000 payments…but I asked him on the first money we gave his manager, he refused the issue completely.”
The ‘conflict’ between Global Publishers and Uganda’s Jose Chamilione continues as yesterday Ugandan musician with his fans matched to Tanzanian Embassy in Uganda to push for Chamilione’s passport which is in hands of Global Publishers General Director, Mr Eric Shigongo.
