GOtv GM Felix Kyengo during a past event

“Our aim is to deliver great digital television entertainment on the advanced DVB-T2 network. Using our exciting new brand GOtv we are offering an affordable digital pay television service with exciting local and international channels in great picture and sound quality at a price that everyone can afford,” said GOtv General Manager, Mr Felix Kyengo.

Stiff competition

He lauded the Government for removing taxes from decoders to make them more affordable. The drop signals stiff competition in the sector following the entry of more payTV firms in the country, the latest being by StarTimes Media.

“With this kind of pricing, GOtv has perfectly positioned itself as a leader in the digital arena and thus, will play a pivotal role towards accelerating Kenya’s digital migration process by end of 2012.” Kyengo concluded.

GOtv provides television lovers with a digital quality picture and sound and a range of local and international channels.

 More channels

Subscribers will have access to an exciting selection of channels containing news, children’s programming, documentaries, series and movies. GOtv channels are carefully selected to cater for a variety of different tastes and family viewing needs at a very affordable price.

Some of the channels that will be available to GOtv subscribers include Africa Magic World, Africa Magic Swahili, Select Sport, One Gospel, E! Entertainment, Channel O, eTV Africa,  and local channels such as KBC, NTV, KTN, Citizen TV to mention but a few.

GOtv is currently available to subscribers in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu.
