He has christened it Byacitse, and it’s his latest single. This is the fifth song Kamichi is releasing in an effort to have his second album, Ubumuntu, complete. He plans to launch the album on December 7 at the swanky Kigali Serena Hotel. Ubumuntu, according to the singer, will be loaded with twelve songs.

His latest single was released concurrently with its video clip. The song is currently in heavy rotation on most local FM radio stations.

“I am working around the clock to make sure that I release all the songs before end of next month. I am sure I will make it,” he said.

He has already recorded the remaining seven songs, which he plans to release one after the other. Byacitse was produced at Bridge Records studio and it is based on a true story, according to the singer. It aims at educating the public on self-discipline and building people’s capacities to rely on self-judgment.

“I have programmed myself and I’m working in a way that will give me enough time to prepare for my launch. I want to give my fans the best I can,” he disclosed.

Other songs on the album include Irambi ya Nyuma, Akaniga, Kabinye and Efirimbi ya Nyuma.

Umugabirwa, Kimichi’s first album, spawned hits like Ifirimbi ya Nyuma, Akanigi, Kabinye, Ndasigaye and Akazina.
