Kristin Chenoweth quits ‘The Good Wife’ after on-set injury

Actress Kristin Chenoweth has stepped out of her role on CBS’s The Good Wifefollowing an injury which occurred on the set of the hit drama.

The accident occurred last month when a gust of wind brought down a piece of lighting equipment and knocked the actress in her head leaving the actress unconscious.

On Monday, Chenoweth, who has a reoccurring role in the series, released a statement to People saying, “It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife at this time. I’m getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern.”

She frequently updated her 614,000 followers regarding her recovery, writing, “To all my fans: thank you for support and love! Doin better everyday. More to come when im Able!” Days later she gave a shout out to The Good Wife cast and crew saying, “I miss the crew and cast of The Good Wife. Love u guys. Xoxo.”
