Mabwepande residents ask Tanzania govt to improve health services
Residents of Mabwepande village in Dar es Salaam have asked the government to improve the new town’s health services to avoid different epidemic diseases.

Mabwepande village which accommodate more than 400 families. Residents blame the government for failure to improve health services.
Speaking in the meeting with Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner today afternoon, Said Mecky Sadick, Mabwepande residents said many families have no good toilets.
Also they said for more than 8 months which they have started new life at the new village, they do not have dispensary.
“Most of the time we go to nearby village dispensary. Also sometimes we use traditional medicine.” said one of the women at Mabwepande.
It should be remembered that, Dar es Salaam city experienced floods on December 20Th and 21St, 2011 which resulted into losing the lives of at least 20 people. The rescued families were later on moved to Mabwepande village.
