Tanzania: Exim Bank supports Kilakala Primary School

The Exim Bank Tanzania has donated 100 desks to Kilakala Primary School in Temeke-Dar es Salaam worth Tsh 8 Mil as the part of the bank’s unique Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of supporting different community activities.

Handing desks to Kilakala Primary School Head Teacher yesterday, The Exim Board Managing Director Anthony Grant said the bank has decided to support the school because it has great impact in children’s future.

“We are today handing over 100 desks but I assure you we will continue to support the school in different aspects so as to boost our educational sector. Once we are done and satisfied that our objectives have been achieved and the school is well equipped, we will focus on other parties.”

On the side of Kilakala Primary School Head Teacher, Abdul Kutarasa thanked the bank and asked other stakeholders to invest in education because it is the only way which can help Tanzanians to develop.

“We thank Exim bank for support and I think this partnership will continue in order to create better learning environment.”
