Tanzania: Pupils, teachers warned over any Exams’ cheatings
The Deputy Minister for the Prime Minister’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government, Aggrey Mwanri has said all teachers, pupils and parents who will engage themselves in fraud actions will face heavy punishment.

Deputy Minister, Mwanri said Tanzanian education has been dropping because of some teachers and invigilators who give answers to pupils.
“This habit has been costing the government, some pupils go into secondary level without knowing even how to read and write. The government cannot tolerate this bad behaviour.” Mwanri said.
He said in order to improve Tanzanian education all education stakeholders should not agree with few people always think on finding ways of stealing exams instead of preparing pupils and students to be confident in tackling questions.
STD 7 pupils will sit for their final examinations on 19Th and 20Th September, 2012.
