Tanzanian workers urged to educate themselves on their rights
Different Tanzanian workers have been blaming the government when what they call their rights sometimes seem to be violated.
But the challenge raises as what are real their rights and what are their duties towards achieving their rights?
Speaking in the opening of short workshop aimed to raise awareness to workers from different sectors, Director of Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) Akwilina Kayumba said Tanzanians workers must wake up and find education through seminars and workshops about their rights at working places.
“Many Tanzanians are affected in one way or another during their working period but their fail to get their rights because they have little knowledge on how they will go about.”
Speaking to Mlimani TV, different workers who attend the workshop thanked OSHA for their efforts to ensure Tanzanians workers work in safe environment.
